Located in Indianapolis, IN, this contract position for a Speech-Language Pathologist offers an exciting opportunity to work part-time in a K-12 school environment, serving students from Pre-K to 22 years old. The role is set to commence on August 4, 2025, and run through May 22, 2026, requiring 21 hours of service per week over three days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy targeted at diverse student needs, including assistive technology and communication skills.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments, providing insightful reports based on student observations.
- Develop and implement IEP objectives tailored to individual student requirements.
- Collaborate with parents and educational staff to discuss student progress and necessary support strategies.
- Maintain a flexible approach to therapy and collaboration within the team.
Qualifications:
- Indiana Professional License (IPLA) and a valid teacher’s license from the Department of Education (IDOE).
- 1 to 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
- Problem-solving skills and adaptability to meet varying student needs.
