A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a K-12 school environment serving students primarily in grades K-8, with some high school students requiring support with AAC devices. This contract role starts ASAP and continues through the end of the school year, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language evaluations and therapy to K-8 students and select high school students using AAC devices.
- Implement individualized treatment plans to address student communication needs.
- Conduct Medicaid billing accurately and timely as part of service documentation.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain compliance with school policies and therapeutic standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Experience working in healthcare, pediatrics, teletherapy, clinical fellowship year (CFY), and school settings.
- Familiarity with Medicaid billing procedures.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse age groups, particularly K-8 students.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
