Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity supporting K-12 students in Irvine, CA. This contract position covers the current school year and involves working within a dynamic school environment dedicated to fostering communication success in children.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language disorders
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Delivering targeted therapy sessions that address specific speech and language goals
  • Closely monitoring and documenting student progress throughout therapy
  • Collaborating effectively with teachers, psychologists, and other multidisciplinary team members to provide coordinated care
  • Engaging families in the therapy process through education and support

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in California
  • Preferably hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students, families, and school staff
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Active licensure approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in the respective state
