A dedicated professional is sought to provide essential services in a K-12 school setting, focusing on students' diverse communication needs. This full-time position involves working with a varied caseload, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree (M.S. / M.A.) in Communication Disorders
- Licensed or License-eligible for the state of Illinois
- Illinois PEL Certification
- ASHA SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or SLP-CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year)
- Experience as a School-Based SLP or Pediatric-Focused SLP is preferred
Location: Janesville, WI
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to assess students' communication skills
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with Special Education Professionals
- Provide direct services to students with speech and language disorders
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Support students in overcoming communication barriers that impact their learning
