A speech-language pathologist is needed to provide specialized support within an elementary and intermediate school setting in Jasper, AL. This contract position offers approximately 20 hours per week, focusing on delivering targeted interventions to a manageable caseload of students across two schools.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of 15 students at the intermediate school and 4 students at the elementary school.
• Scheduling and conducting sessions across two full days at the intermediate school and a half-day at the elementary school.
• Collaborating with educators and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
• Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
• Participating in team meetings as required to ensure cohesive student support services.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology licensure with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is strongly preferred.
• Experience working with elementary and intermediate school-aged children.
• Ability to manage multiple caseloads efficiently while delivering high-quality therapy.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working within an educational team.
