Substitute Speech Therapist in Jerome, ID

A contracted Special Education Teacher opportunity is available for the school year in the Jerome, ID area. This role allows you to gain valuable experience within a school setting while working collaboratively with a dedicated educational team.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction and support in a Special Education environment
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers and other school staff to meet student needs
• Adapt and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
• Support classroom management and foster a positive learning atmosphere

Qualifications:

• Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Self-Contained General Education Endorsement or Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license
• Possession of a Substitute Teacher License or Short Term Substitute License
• Previous experience working with school-age students is preferred but not required
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with teaching staff and students
