A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school in Jersey City, NJ, serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This contract role begins ASAP and continues through June 23, 2026, with working hours from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Responsibilities include providing individualized speech and language therapy to a caseload of 5-8 students with ASD. The role demands collaboration with educators and support staff to develop and implement effective communication interventions tailored to each student's needs. The SLP will also conduct assessments, track progress, and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) completion
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with elementary-aged children
- Expertise in supporting children on the autism spectrum
- Ability to design and deliver individualized therapy plans
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
