Pediatric School Speech Therapist - Jersey City, New Jersey

Step into a rewarding contract role supporting preschool-aged learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the vibrant area near Jersey City, NJ. This part-time assignment runs June 1–June 19, with the option to start earlier if you’re available. Key Qualifications:

• Current NJ Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Active New Jersey Department of Education (DOE) certification
• Experience working with preschool or pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings
• Comfortable working as CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellow (CFY)
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Commitment to supporting student growth and collaborative teamwork

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in preschool students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other specialists
• Maintain accurate records and provide documentation as required
• Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and family education
• Foster a supportive, positive learning environment for all students
