An opportunity exists for a dedicated professional with expertise in speech-language pathology within a K-12 educational setting. This role is based in Joliet, IL, and focuses on providing high-quality support and intervention to students requiring speech and language services.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) supervision experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Location:
- Joliet, IL
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support students’ goals
- Provide direct speech and language therapy in individual and group settings
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation in compliance with regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
