An exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated candidate looking to make a meaningful impact in a K-12 educational environment. This full-time position is set to commence on August 18, 2025, and continue through June 3, 2026, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) and IDFPR certification.
- 1-2 years of experience as a speech-language pathologist.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility and problem-solving skills to adapt to various situations and needs.
Location: Naperville, IL
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement speech-language therapy plans addressing diverse needs, including assistive technology and social language skills.
- Conduct diagnostic testing and assessments to evaluate student needs.
- Provide comprehensive reports based on student evaluations and observations.
- Work effectively with students with moderate to severe disabilities, aged 2 to 22.
- Create and maintain IEP objectives, collaborating with parents and staff to support student progress.
