A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year in a K-8 educational setting located in Joliet, IL. This on-site contract position focuses on supporting students across elementary and middle school grades, including early childhood caseloads. The role offers a diverse caseload with an emphasis on pediatric speech therapy within a school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to students ranging from kindergarten through eighth grade
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning

Qualifications:

  • Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Current state teaching certificate relevant to the position
  • State fingerprint clearance card for working within school settings
  • Experience with pediatric speech therapy in educational settings preferred
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus but position is fully on-site
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
