Responsibilities:
- Provide speech therapy services aligned with students’ IEP goals.
- Conduct assessments and develop or update treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educators, occupational therapists, and other specialists to enhance student outcomes.
- Monitor and document student progress systematically.
- Participate in IEP meetings to discuss student development and strategies for support.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding speech therapy services.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active Louisiana SLP License.
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
