A K-12 school in Jupiter, FL, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students from kindergarten through fifth grade. This contract position spans the current school year, with an anticipated duration from ASAP through May 28, 2026. Positions are open to full-time or part-time candidates, including Clinical Fellows (CFs), offering flexibility for professionals at varying stages of their career.

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) credentials.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF).
  • Experience with pediatric populations preferred, specifically K-5 students.
  • Familiarity with school-based speech-language services and intervention strategies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with school staff and families.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders for students in grades K through 5.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with school guidelines.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by school policies.
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development.
