A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the academic school year in a K-12 educational setting located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This contract position requires in-person attendance throughout the school year, providing a structured and supportive environment to contribute directly to student communication and language development.

Key Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
  • Background in healthcare, pediatrics, or school-based speech pathology
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted
  • Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings
  • Ability to provide in-person services full time with a commitment to the entire academic year

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language evaluations and therapeutic interventions to K-12 students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support individual student needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports adhering to school policies and professional standards
  • Participate in team meetings to design and implement targeted, evidence-based support programs
  • Assist with early intervention and prevention strategies in communication disorders
