A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Kalkaska, MI, serving a school setting on a contract basis, starting ASAP through June 12th, 2026. This role involves working with a wide age range, from early intervention through high school students, providing comprehensive speech-language services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language evaluations, interventions, and support for students across various age groups.
- Provide services in diverse settings including classrooms, home visits, and preschool visitations.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and treatment plans.
- Utilize teletherapy techniques as needed to enhance student engagement and therapy outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress on speech and language goals.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in both school and healthcare environments.
- Ability to adapt therapy methods for teletherapy delivery.
- Familiarity with early intervention programs and age-appropriate strategies.
- Current licensure or eligibility to practice in Michigan.
- Strong communication skills and collaborative approach when working with multidisciplinary teams.
