A healthcare facility in Katy, Texas, is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential speech and language services. This contract position offers opportunities to work full time or part time, primarily on-site, supporting pediatric and school-based populations. The role focuses on evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders while collaborating closely with allied health professionals and families.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active Texas licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience with AAC devices and knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Previous school setting experience advantageous
  • Skills in teletherapy and clinical fellowship year (CFY) welcome

Location:

  • Katy, TX (Houston metropolitan area)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnose speech and language disorders
  • Design and implement tailored treatment plans to meet individual patient needs
  • Work collaboratively with caregivers, Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), occupational therapists, and physical therapists
  • Track patient progress and adjust interventions as necessary
  • Maintain precise and timely documentation of therapy sessions and patient records
