Speech Language Pathologist in Katy, TX

A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is sought for a part-time, onsite position in a K-12 school setting located in Katy, TX. This contract role spans the full school year (CSY), providing an excellent opportunity for professionals interested in supporting students’ speech and language development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments and testing to identify student needs.
• Provide therapy tailored to individual student goals.
• Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to discuss student progress and plan interventions.
• Maintain detailed documentation of services delivered and student outcomes.
• Collaborate with educators and other professionals to optimize student communication skills.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification with CCC.
• Previous experience working within K-12 educational environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of school-based therapy requirements and compliance.
• Ability to conduct ARDs, testing, and deliver effective therapy sessions independently.
• No requirement or supervision of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) in this role.
• Flexibility to adapt to varied student needs and potential changes in the caseload.
