Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist / Assistant – Contract Role (Katy, TX)
A K-12 school setting is seeking a skilled and dedicated part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with credentials including SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, SLP–School, or SLPA–School to join on a contract basis for the current school year (CSY). This position offers an opportunity to provide vital speech therapy services while serving students across multiple grade levels.
Location and Schedule:
- Based primarily at the middle school and high school campuses, with additional support at the elementary school
- Approximately 18 to 21 hours per week, spread over 2.5 to 3 days
- Contract duration: Approximately October 1, 2025, through May 2, 2026
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech evaluations and provide individualized speech therapy to students
- Manage a caseload including approximately 8 middle school students, 14 high school students, and 10 elementary students
- Complete all required documentation efficiently and accurately
- Participate in ARD/IEP meetings to collaborate on student goals and progress
Qualifications:
- Must hold or be eligible for one of the following credentials: SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, SLP–School, or SLPA–School
- The position is open to candidates currently in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working with K-12 populations preferred
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate with educational teams
