A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming school year in a K-12 setting located in Kenner, LA. This contract role offers the opportunity to provide essential speech and language services to students across all grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services to K-12 students onsite.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication needs.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all relevant regulations and policies.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required.
- Experience in pediatric speech-language therapy, preferably within a school setting.
- Knowledge of teletherapy practices and clinical fellowship year (CFY) experience is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population across K-12 grades.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
