A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a K-12 school setting located in Kent, WA. This role is designed to cover a leave of absence and offers the opportunity to support students requiring speech and language interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for school-age children.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in educational or healthcare settings.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work effectively within a school environment serving K-12 students.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
