This opportunity is ideal for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience or certification to provide supportive services in a middle school setting. The role focuses on delivering individualized speech and language interventions to support student communication and academic success throughout a full semester contract.

Key Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working within school settings, preferably with middle school students
  • Ability to design and implement effective speech and language therapy plans
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families

Location:

  • Kent, WA, at a middle school campus

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify student needs
  • Develop and deliver targeted therapy sessions aligned with student IEP goals
  • Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and services provided
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to support student development
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to student support planning
