This opportunity is ideal for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience or certification to provide supportive services in a middle school setting. The role focuses on delivering individualized speech and language interventions to support student communication and academic success throughout a full semester contract.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working within school settings, preferably with middle school students
- Ability to design and implement effective speech and language therapy plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
Location:
- Kent, WA, at a middle school campus
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop and deliver targeted therapy sessions aligned with student IEP goals
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and services provided
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to support student development
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student support planning
