As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll provide critical assessment, intervention, and consultative services to children, collaborating closely with educators and families to ensure student success.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Washington
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress
  • Experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads preferred
  • Knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies for a diverse student population
  • Ability to develop and implement IEP goals and work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students for speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment data
  • Deliver therapy services in individual and group formats
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents
  • Support student success both in the classroom and through staff consultation
  • Stay current on best practices, compliance, and relevant state and federal regulations
