A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is open in a K-12 school setting located in Kerman, CA. This contract role spans the complete school year and offers the opportunity to support students across a diverse caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 60-65 students, including 25-30 receiving speech-only services
- Collaborate with special education teams and support staff, including potential supervision of SLPA facilitators
- Manage referrals and caseload efficiently to meet the needs of students
- Utilize experience with SEIS (Special Education Information System) to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with district requirements
- Deliver services onsite, adhering to district protocols and schedules
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP - CCC preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in California schools
- At least 1 year experience with SEIS is required
- Experience supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) or facilitators is preferred
- Ability to handle a high caseload and provide quality therapeutic interventions
- Candidates completing Clinical Fellowship year (CFs) will be considered
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not mandatory
