This position offers an excellent opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF), or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide specialized support within a K-12 school setting. Located in Kirksville, MO, this part-time role involves approximately 10 hours per week during the current school year on a contractual basis.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting speech and language assessments for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's communication needs
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and records in compliance with school and district guidelines
  • Participating in team meetings and professional development activities as required

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
  • Open to candidates holding an SLP Clinical Fellowship or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant certification
  • Experience working in a school environment is advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to supporting students' communication development and educational success
