This contract opportunity focuses on providing expert speech-language pathology services within schools, collaborating closely with educational teams and families. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Valid state license (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children in school settings preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 40-60 students across 1-2 school sites
  • Up-to-date knowledge of IEP processes and best practices in school-based therapy

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language interventions for students with communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents
  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
  • Maintain accurate records of services, progress, and related documentation
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to support student success
  • Offer guidance and resources to educators and families for carryover of skills
  • Actively engage in professional development and keep current with educational therapy trends
