A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to work within an elementary school setting in Lakeville, MN. This role supports students in a school environment, providing specialized speech and language services over the course of the current school year.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Licensed or certified as an SLP or SLPA, with credentials appropriate for school settings
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in elementary education
  • Familiarity with educational speech therapy practices and individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Ability to deliver services effectively as a Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) provider or as a fully licensed clinician
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers

Location:

  • Elementary school environment
  • Lakeville, Minnesota

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and screenings for students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Monitor and document student progress regularly
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support student learning
  • Provide direct therapy services in accordance with school and state policies
  • Participate in meetings related to student interventions and support plans
