Apply NowThis position offers an exciting opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to work within a dynamic K-12 school environment in Lakeville, MN. This contract role spans the current school year (CSY), providing valuable experience supporting students throughout their academic journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students to identify communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address speech, language, and fluency challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Provide direct therapy services in-person and/or through teletherapy as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with educational standards
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working in school, healthcare, or pediatric settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Licensure eligible or licensed to practice in Minnesota
- For SLPA candidates: relevant certification and experience in school or healthcare settings
