A K-12 school in Lakewood, WA is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive services for students during the current school year (CSY) on a contract basis. This role involves working directly with pediatric and school-aged populations to support their speech and language development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of students presenting with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Provide targeted therapy sessions to address specific communication goals
  • Monitor and accurately document student progress and outcomes
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including educators and healthcare professionals
  • Engage family members in the therapeutic process to enhance outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Washington
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations is highly desirable
  • Strong communication abilities and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional Requirements:

  • Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in Washington
  • Possession or attainment of a Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
