A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting in Lakewood, WA. This contract position runs through the current school year until June 12, 2026, serving a caseload of 45-50 students. The role requires onsite presence; virtual candidates will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to K-12 students based on individual needs
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to support student communication development
  • Conduct assessments, create therapy plans, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and progress monitoring

Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State SLP License or willingness to obtain licensure
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Fingerprinting completed through the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) or willingness to complete the process
  • Experience working in school settings with diverse student populations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Location:

  • Onsite in Lakewood, WA (no virtual arrangements)

This position offers a full-time workweek of 37.5 hours with a caseload primarily focused on K-12 students. Candidates with a commitment to supporting school-aged children in improving their communication skills are encouraged to apply promptly.
