Seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide full-time support for an elementary caseload during a maternity leave coverage. This contract position is set in a K-12 school environment in Lancaster, PA, running from January 12 to May 1. The role focuses on delivering speech and language services to approximately 50-55 students, Monday through Friday, from 8:20 AM to 4:00 PM.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in healthcare and pediatrics settings preferred
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) highly desirable
- Background in school-based speech-language pathology services
- Ability to manage and assess a caseload of diverse students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy to students with a range of speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district guidelines
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of each student
