A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a K-12 school located in Lapwai, ID. This contract role spans the current school year, from ASAP through June 3rd, and offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of 30-40 students aged PreK-21.
Responsibilities include delivering direct speech-language therapy services to students, collaborating with educators and families, and developing individualized education program (IEP) goals tailored to each student's needs. The role requires working closely with life skills teachers to support students with various communication challenges.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
- Experience in school-based speech-language services across a broad age range, PreK through 21
- Ability to manage a caseload of 30-40 students effectively
- Collaboration skills to work alongside life skills teachers and other educational staff
- Strong organizational and communication skills
