A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in early childhood education, serving students from PreK through 5th grade. This position is based in an early childhood school setting close to Austin, TX, with a caseload of approximately 45 students. The role requires a commitment from January 6th through May 22nd, covering the remainder of the academic semester.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of PreK-5 students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student communication goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
  • Utilize your own classroom space within the school to conduct sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology or in the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • Experience working in school settings, preferably early childhood.
  • Strong understanding of speech-language development and interventions tailored to children ages PreK to 5.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload of about 45 students effectively.

Location:

  • Early childhood school in Leander, TX, with classroom space at a nearby elementary campus serving as the worksite. This location provides easy access to Austin proper.
