A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting in Lewiston, ME. This contract role is ideal for a licensed SLP holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who is passionate about supporting speech and language development across all grade levels.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification and licensure to practice in Maine
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience providing speech and language therapy services within a K-12 school environment
  • Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders
  • Design and deliver evidence-based speech therapy interventions for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Document services in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in team meetings and communicate regularly with teachers and parents to support student success
