Apply NowThis position offers a rewarding opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students across grades K-12 in a dynamic school environment. Working within a contract capacity during the current school year (CSY), this role focuses on delivering essential speech and language services tailored to the diverse needs of school-aged children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques to improve students’ communication skills and academic success.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and regulatory standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute insights toward student development and learning strategies.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with school-aged children in an educational setting, especially within K-12.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and maintain thorough documentation.
