Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a CCC designation.
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in special education settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff and students.
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Proficient in using assessment tools and strategies to address diverse student needs.
Location:
Nevada City, CA
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students requiring speech and language services.
- Collaborate with the full-time SLPA to support a caseload of 31 students, serving a total of 65.
- Develop and maintain IEPs, ensuring they reflect each student's unique requirements.
- Implement effective therapy strategies tailored to individual student needs.
- Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and support staff regarding student progress and challenges.
