This position offers an opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to work within a K-12 educational setting focused on providing support to students across various grade levels.

Location:

  • Based in Litchfield, MN with an additional SLP position location to be determined.
  • Multi-building assignments for SLPA across both elementary and secondary schools.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
  • For SLP: Typical hours are either 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM.
  • For SLPA: Scheduling will align with the academic day across multiple buildings.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Certification in Speech-Language Pathology appropriate for school settings (SLP-CCC, Pediatric specialization preferred).
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for SLPs.
  • Experience working with school-aged children in K-12 schools.
  • Relevant licensure and credentials for speech pathology services within schools.
  • For SLPA: Previous experience supporting speech-language programs in both elementary and secondary educational environments.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and provide individualized therapy services.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student outcomes.
  • Document progress and maintain compliance with school policies and guidelines.
  • For SLPA: Assist certified SLP in delivering therapeutic interventions across multiple schools.

This contract position spans the complete school year, allowing professionals to make a meaningful impact on student communication skills in a dynamic educational setting.
