Two full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) positions are available for the 2025-26 school year at elementary schools in Arvada, CO. These contract roles offer an opportunity to work with diverse student populations in specialized academic support programs.
One position supports a Moderate Academic Support program, while the other serves a Significant Support Needs center-based program. Caseloads average 35 students per SLP, providing a balanced yet impactful workload. Both roles require dedication to fostering communication development and delivering individualized therapy.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) for SLPs or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Experience or interest in school-based speech-language pathology
- Ability to manage caseloads of approximately 35 students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams
- Passion for supporting students with a range of communication needs
Location:
- Elementary schools located in Arvada, Colorado
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy to students in assigned programs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success strategies
