Step into an engaging full-time contract opportunity for the entire 2026-2027 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, working onsite in a supportive educational environment near Logansport, IN. This role is crucial in helping students reach their full communicative potential while collaborating closely with school staff and families.
Skills and Experience Desired:
- Active licensure or eligibility as an SLP (CCC or CFY) or SLPA in Indiana
- Experience working in school settings strongly preferred, but healthcare-based SLPAs with a passion for education are encouraged to apply
- Expertise in speech, language, and communication disorders among school-aged children
- Commitment to working onsite each contracted day throughout the school year
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Assess, diagnose, and document speech and language disorders
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Develop engaging therapy materials and strategies tailored to student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations
- Offer guidance and support to educators regarding language and communication development
