Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Proficiency in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose students' speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to meet individual student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to enhance students’ educational experiences.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the ongoing support of students.
