A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational environment located in Lowell, MA. This role focuses on providing essential evaluation and consultation services with the support of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) who will assist with direct therapy.
Responsibilities include managing an elementary or middle school caseload of approximately 60 students. The primary duties involve conducting speech and language evaluations, offering consultative support to educators and families, and collaborating with the SLPA to deliver effective therapy services.
Key qualifications and desired experience:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), including Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working in school settings with pediatric caseloads
- Familiarity with speech-language evaluations, treatment planning, and consultation
- Ability to manage a comprehensive caseload effectively
- Experience collaborating with support personnel such as SLPAs
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Two scheduling options are available:
- Elementary School Schedule: 8:20 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Middle/High School Schedule: 7:20 a.m. – 2:40 p.m.
