A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to provide support in a dynamic K-12 school setting located in Lusby, MD. This contract position spans the current school year with an immediate start date through June 9th. The role offers the opportunity to positively impact students' communication abilities across all grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and prepare necessary reports.
  • Attend meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts to support student success.
  • Ensure compliance with state licensing and school district regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Maryland SLP License.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Experience working in school settings is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage caseloads effectively and work independently.

Work Schedule:

  • Approximately 7:15 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Friday.
  • Contract duration from ASAP to June 9th.
