A talented candidate is needed for an onsite, school-based position in the Bronx, NY, to provide support during a leave replacement. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse student population in an elementary and middle school setting.
Location: Bronx, NY
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to students.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals.
- Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to support student progress.
- Manage a caseload of 25 students with a full range of speech and language needs across two school buildings.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- ASHA CCCs; Clinical Fellows considered in some cases.
- Active SLP License in New York.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills.
