A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a K-12 school setting. This contract position requires a dedicated professional holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) specializing in speech-language pathology to deliver high-quality therapy services to students. The role offers an opportunity to work 20 hours per week (.5 FTE) between now and June 16, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide therapy services that promote language development and communication effectiveness.
  • Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with educational and clinical standards.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Current SLP certificate with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
  • Experience working in a K-12 educational environment preferred.
  • Ability to manage caseload effectively while maintaining strong communication skills.
  • Proven ability to create engaging, evidence-based therapy plans tailored to student needs.

Location & Schedule:

  • Position is based in a Lynnwood, WA area K-12 school.
  • One school location with a .5 SLP workload (approximately 20 hours per week).
  • Contract duration: ASAP through June 16, 2026.
