A K-12 school in Lynnwood, WA is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services for the current school year (CSY) under a contract position. This role focuses on delivering speech and language support to students from kindergarten through 12th grade, helping to enhance their communication skills and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students with communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address students’ unique needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
  • Document student performance and maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies
  • Provide direct therapy sessions to students in both individual and group settings

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience working as an SLP within a school setting (K-12 preferred)
  • Knowledge of current speech and language therapy techniques and assessments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary educational team
