An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to provide essential services in a K-12 school setting, located in Rockford, IL. This role is focused on supporting students with communication disorders from June 2025 through June 2026, offering the chance to make a significant impact on their educational experiences.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree (M.S. / M.A.) in Communication Disorders
- Licensed or License-eligible for the state of IL
- Illinois PEL Certification
- ASHA SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or SLP-CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year)
- Experience as a School-Based SLP or with pediatric populations is a plus
Location: Rockford, IL
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to assess students' communication skills
- Provide services to school-aged children with varying disabilities impacting their learning
- Collaborate with Special Education Professionals to develop relevant treatment plans
- Maintain documentation and participate in meetings as required
