A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting located in Madera, CA. This contract role, with a job duration through the next school year (NSY), offers a 37.5-hour workweek serving a PreK through 7th-grade caseload. The position starts as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for students from PreK to 7th grade
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students' communication needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to monitor student progress and adjust interventions
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all evaluations, therapy sessions, and communications
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional recommendations
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with children in a school setting, preferably grades PreK-7
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently and efficiently
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs
