A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K-12 students in a school setting in Manteca, CA. This role involves providing speech and language services across multiple sites based on caseload needs within established standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language evaluations, interventions, and support to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to monitor student progress and adjust services as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations
  • Travel between assigned school sites depending on caseload distribution
  • Work a six-hour day, typically from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with some variation of about 15 minutes
  • Adhere to school calendar breaks, including Winter Break (12/19/25–1/12/26) and Spring Break (3/23/26–3/27/26)

Qualifications:

  • Valid California licensure or certification as an SLP or SLPA
  • Experience working with school-age children in K-12 settings preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple caseloads and adjust scheduling across different locations
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexibility to work varied hours within the typical school day schedule

This contract position begins ASAP and extends through the end of the school year on May 29, 2026. The schedule allows for a six-hour workday with caseloads maintained within required standards.
