A K-12 school in Marina, CA, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a Contract, school-year position. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in pediatric speech and language disorders, eager to make an impact in an educational setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough evaluations for students with speech and language disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Providing targeted therapy sessions to support speech and language development
- Monitoring and documenting student progress with detailed records
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate student care effectively
- Engaging families in the therapy process through education and communication
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Additional Requirements:
- Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology for the respective state
- Master’s Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
