Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students.
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
Location:
- Olivehurst, CA, a community situated approximately one hour north of Sacramento.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech therapy.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, tailored to their specific goals.
- Collaborate with educational staff to support students’ overall communication skills.
- Monitor and document students’ progress in accordance with school policies.
- Engage with families to promote understanding and support for student needs.
