Step into a dynamic school-based role where you'll make a meaningful difference in the communication development of students from preschool through 8th grade. This contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and runs through May 29, 2026. Your workday starts at 7:30 am and wraps up at 3:15 pm, totaling 7.5 hours per day. As a valued member of the team, you’ll support multiple elementary buildings, traveling between Horizon Elementary, Browning Road, and Kern Avenue as a rover to address a variety of service minutes and assessment needs.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience or willingness to support students from preschool through 8th grade
  • Strong teamwork, flexibility, and ability to prioritize student needs
  • Dedication to serving diverse populations and working across school sites

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services according to students’ IEPs
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and reassess students' communication abilities
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families for best outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records of services and progress
  • Travel as needed between school sites to support caseload demands
